Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Col 2:7

The Battle is Growing More Intense

We learned this week that members of the US Congress have been forbidden to send out Christmas cards wishing their constituents a Merry Christmas.

We are also informed that the US Army uniform now includes the choice of the wearing of turbins or Muslim head scarves. At the same time chaplains are forbidden to utter the name of Jesus in their prayers.

Across America Christmas trees and Christmas lights are banned in public places. Happy Holidays has replaced Merry Christmas as the effort to eliminate Christmas reaches a crescendo.

Everywhere the message of the hour is tolerance, except when it comes to Christianity where the clear message is “stamp it out.”

The battle of the ages is heating up dramatically. The record of the scriptures is a record of war raging between God and His adversary, Satan. That battle has always been fought by men, men who are committed to the Lord versus men who are under the control of the adversary.

There are many fronts in this warfare. Israel is another front that is also heating up in these last days. Another front is the Church of Jesus Christ where the adversary is waging all out war to destroy it through apostasy.

We have been warned in scripture that as the last days approach these battles will increase in intensity. We are now seeing this prophecy clearly unfolding before our eyes.

If you are called out one, one chosen out of the world by Christ to follow Him, you are the object of the attack of the adversary.

John 15:19 says, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
